Mohanthal
Product details
Mohanthal is a traditional, melt-in-your-mouth Indian sweet originating from Gujarat and popular in Rajasthan and Sindh. The name is thought to come from "Mohan," one of the 108 names of Krishna. The sweet is often served as prasad, an offering to God, during festivals like Diwali, Janmashtami, and Raksha Bandhan. Mohanthal is made by laminating, roasting, and frying chickpea flour (besan) until it's pale brown, then combining it with ghee and sugar.
